I really have to say it wouldn't be any use for a big household and it is relatively noisy, however rather then that, it is nice. I've had it 6 months. The lid took somewhat a push to lock after which the plastic bit you had to push snapped off. Kenwood replaced the lid. Now a bit of plastic has come off the main part- the lid used to be jammed on and wanted some force to free it.
